Description

UTC Aerospace Systems, the supplier of aerospace and defence technologies, has announced the expansion plans of its Polish plant located in Tajęcina (close to Rzeszów and Krosno). 100 new positions will be created at the plant where different parts of undercarriage for 737 Boeings are manufactured. Soon the production of wheels for different types of Boeing will be launched there. This information was announced by representatives of Boeing Commercial Airplanes and UTC Aerospace Systems. Both companies declared to continue the development of their co-operation as they expect an increase in the number of orders in the following five years. The future co-operation is expected to lead to higher revenues and also new investments in the Polish units of both companies.

UTC Aerospace Systems was formed in 2012 by consolidation of two companies, Hamilton Sundstrand and Goodrich. The company is part of United Technologies Corporation (UTC), which employs about 10,000 people in units across Poland.
