Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Kainos Software has announced that will increase its workforce by the end of 2016. For its centre located in Gdańsk, where currently 150 people are employed, the company is planning to recruit 100 new employees. The new office with an area of 2,500 m2, for which the company is planning to recruit IT specialists, testers as well as administration staff, has already been leased.
Kainos Software is headquartered in Belfast, Northern Ireland and provides IT solutions for businesses and organisations particularly in the public, healthcare and financial services sectors. The company employs 700 people and has offices in the UK, Ireland, USA and Poland.
