Description

Johnson Controls, a US automotive supplier, will close its plant in Böblingen, Germany, and 220 jobs will be cut as a result. According to the company this restructuring has become necessary due to a loss of a large-scale contract for Mercedes. Another two plants of the company are equally confronted with closure; one in Grefrath with around 310 employees and one in Wuppertal with 350 employees.
