European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Dutch garden centre chain Tuincentrum Overvecht is facing financial difficulties and is to cut 90 jobs out of a total workforce of 450. Further details on the reorganisation have not been revealed. The trade union FNV complains that it has been informed too late about the reorganisation, but a social plan is said to be in place. Tuincentrum Vecht was previously part of Blokker Holding, but was taken over last year by Borgeld Management Group.
