Description
The commercial court of Rouen has approved the takeover of painting company Maës by three small companies from the Normandy region. The takeover will lead to 183 job cuts. The new owner will keep 41 employees working in the asbestos removal activity that they share between them.
The company has accumulated losses since 2012 and faces sharp competition and a huge decline of demand linked to the crisis in the construction sector.
