Baker Hughes Poland, a subsidiary of Baker Hughes, has announced its plan to invest PLN 70 mn (EUR 17.28 mn USD 19.44 mn) in the Lodz Special Economic Zone. The new plant, at which products for gas & oil industry will be produced, is expected to be operational by the end of August this year. As a result 120 jobs will be created and the company will start the recruitment in the second half of the year. Baker Hughes is one of the world’s largest oilfield services companies. The company operates in over 90 countries.
