Description
Call centre provider Webhelp has announced plans to create 400 new jobs at two of its Scottish sites. The new jobs will double the size of the workforce at the sites in Kilmarnock, in East Ayrshire and Dunoon, in Argyll and Bute. Although the total number of jobs is reported as 400 it is not known how many jobs will be created at each site. The company has said that the new jobs are in response to increased demand for services. Recruitment has already started for the Kilmarnock site and Dunoon will begin in May. It is not known when the jobs will actually all be filled. In addition to the new jobs the two sites have been selected to develop the company's centre of excellence programme which is designed to enhance skills and knowledge transfer.
