Description

Lidl Italia, a subsidiary of the German-based chain of discount stores Lidl, announced the hiring of about 400 people in its stores and in its headquarters of Arcole (Verona). The hirings are part of an investment plan worthy about 1 EUR million. According to the plan, the group will expand its workforce by 2,000 over the next two years. In the next months, the company will select workers with the following profiles: shop assistants, sales assistants, facility managers and development managers. Furthermore, by the end of 2015, Lidl will hire about 40 new managers for its regional sales department. Most of the new workers will be recruited on open-ended contracts.
