European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
As a result of the merger plan of Bank BGŻ (Bank Gospodarki Żywnościowej) and BNP Paribas the employment at the first one will decrease by up to 1,800. The conditions of restructuring programme have been negotiated with the local trade unions. The restructuring process will be carried out over a two-year period starting from the date of the planned merger of the banks.
