Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German industrial group ThyssenKrupp has announced its plan to create up to 700 new workplaces at its Global Business Centre in Gdańsk. The centre will provide financial, human resources, real estate and IT services for the units across Europe and is expected to be operational in the first half of 2015. Currently, ThyssenKrupp is engaged in building a network of six global shared services centres located in Poland, India, Brazil, China and Germany (two locations).
