Description
Leeds based manufacturer of plumbing materials, Pegler Yorkshire, has announced plans to close its site in Stourton (Leeds). The move will affect 110 employees. The company employs 1,200 across six sites and the proposed closure of the Stourton site is being made to consolidate manufacturing at the remaining five sites. The site at Stourton has been open since 1888. A 90-day consultation period has started and the company has said that it will look at ways of minimising job losses.
