Volkswagen will increase its employment in Poland in relation to production of the new model of VW Caddy. 900 new jobs will be created at its plant in Poznań. The VW has invested EUR 23 million and the production is going to start in late May 2015. The company has already started to recruit engineers and maintenance specialists. The recruitment of production staff is planned to begin in July this year.
Volkswagen has been operating in Poznań since 1993 and presently employs more than 7,500 people.
