European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Swedish telecom operator Telia, part of the Nordic group Telia Sonera, has announced that it will close down its private customer service centre in Karlstad, giving notice to 110 employees. The aim of the closure is to centralize Telia’s operations to fewer sites. Telia currently operates private customer service centres in Göteborg, Stockholm, Luleå, Sundsvall and Norrköping, in addition to Karlstad. Telia also operates a business customer service center in Karlstad which will not be affected by the closure. Telia employs a total of 11,2151 people in Sweden.
