Description
Spanish supermarket chain Dia has agreed with trade unions a labour adjustment plan affecting 114 employees at warehouses in Salamanca, Zafra, Meres and Valladolid. Of the total, 61 employees will be relocated to other warehouses. The job cuts will be implemented as of 20 April in Zafra, 4 May in Meres, and 11 May in Valladolid and Salamanca. Following the negotiations with the trade unions, the labour adjustment plan will not affect workers with partial retirement contracts, temporary workers about to finish their contract and workers older than 60 years.
