European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
American company Honeywell, developing products in aerospace industry, automation, control and security solution systems, has announced 300 new jobs to be created due to the enlargement of its Brno site from March 2015 though an investment of USD 10 million.
The Brno site, which opened in 2003, is to become the company's largest research/development centre in Europe. Currently, over 1,500 people are working there.
Besides the development centre, the group operates two manufacturing sites (Brno, Olomouc) and a commercial headquarters in Prague. Overall, the company employs more than 4,000 people in the Czech Republic.
Global HTC centres are located in the Czech Republic, India and China.
