European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
International packaging and paper group Mondi plans to close its plant in Polinya (Barcelona) and dismiss 110 workers. The measure must still be discussed with the trade unions. Thus, the date of the closure and the timeline of the dismissals have not been decided yet. According to the company managers, the measure is due to limited profit margins forecasted for the coming years.
