South Yorkshire based bakery Cooplands has announced over 300 job losses. The company which is headquartered in Doncaster, South Yorkshire employed 562 staff across 80 stores and operated 26 mobile sandwich vans. The job losses will be from the head office, which is understood to employ around 200 employees, and from 39 store closures. Administrators Deloitte confirmed that 41 stores and the mobile vans have been bought by Resolve, a company which specialises in business restructuring. The sale to Resolve has secured 259 jobs, though 303 jobs are still being cut.
