Description
On 13 January 2015, Poczta Polska, Polish national postal operator, announced a new job reduction plan affecting about 5,000 workers across Poland. The redundancies are expected to be implemented by the end of 2015. The positions will be cut through a voluntary dismissal programme. However, the conditions of the restructuring programme are still being negotiated with the local trade unions which claim that the restructuration might affect even up to 8,000 employees.
Poczta Polska employs 78,000 workers across the country.
