Description

Due to the scaling down of expansion plans for 2015, Jerónimo Martins Polska, the owner of Biedronka (food retail chain), has announced that is going to reduce the number of employees by 130. The company is going to open now 100 instead of 300 stores. The collective dismissal programme will be introduced and the local trade unions have been already informed about this situation.

Jerónimo Martins Polska employs around 55,000 people. The company has 2,587 stores and 15 distribution centres across the country.
