Japanese company Yazaki, the world's largest producer of wiring harnesses, is to create over 850 jobs in its Romanian production units by the end of 2015. The company is expected to open two new production facilities in Urlati (Prahova county), in autumn 2014, and in Braila, October 2015. The Urlati plant is expected to hire 850 new employees by April 2015, while the Braila plant has plans to hire 1500 new staff by the end of 2016. The new production capacities will eventualy create 4,000 new jobs.
The Japanese auto parts manufacturer Yazaki has a business turnover of nearly 340 million euros in Romania and it employs 4700 people at two plants in Ploiesti and Arad and two workshops in Caracal and Timisoara.
