Description
Supermarket chain Waitrose has announced plans to create 2,000 new jobs. The jobs will be created at both new and existing sites. A new depot is being opened in South London to accommodate the increased demand in online shopping and some of the new posts will be based there. In addition to this, fourteen new stores will be opened from spring onwards; seven will be smaller convenience shops. The exact locations of the new shops and new jobs, apart from the South London depot, have not been specified, though it is reported that the majority of the expansion will be in south-east England.
