European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Metz will dismiss 110 out of 540 employees at its Zirndorf headquarters in 2015. Metz is a Mittelfrank TV manufacturer. The company filed for bankruptcy in November 2014. Metz has indicated that it intends to reduce personnel overcapacity. Dismissed employees will be able to transfer to a transition company. The transition company will support Metz employees with training measures up to the end of July 2015.
