Description
State-owned airport operations company Swedavia has announced the closure of Göteborg City Airport in Säve and given notice to all staff at the airport. The closure implies the loss of 102 jobs.
The decision to close was taken based on the estimated costs of repairing and upgrading the runways to accommodate air traffic.
Swedavia employs a total of 2,400 people.
