European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Finnish non-life insurance company IF P&C has concluded employer-employee negotiations concerning 340 employees. The outcome is the loss of 122 jobs. Of these 73 will be through voluntary measures, 44 through pension arrangements and 5 direct dismissals. IF will concentrate its telephone services operations to Turku and Espoo, and centers in Tampere, Kuopio, and Oulu will be closed.
IF P&C employs a total of 1,742 people in Finland, and has 16 offices servicing private customers and 20 sales offices throughout Finland.
