European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The railway company SNCF has announced an employment protection plan (plan de sauvegarde de l'emploi) to cut about 92 positions at its technical centre at Oullins near Lyon. This site has about 900 employees. CGT union has concerns that this decision will lead to the closure of the site, after several closures of facilities within the plant.
