Description

The City of Paris has announced it is to create 802 new jobs by 2015. Paris will recruit 1292 employees by 2015 and within the same period, it will cut about 490 positons mainly through non-replacement of those departing for retirement or other reasons. The new jobs will be created in sports and garden services, nursery facilities, schools and to support policies in favour of children. The number of employees of the city has increased by about 35% between 2001 and 2014. By end of 2015, about 55,000 employees will work for the city (49,500 full-time employee equivalent).
