European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Pharmaceutical Spanish firm, Perez Jimenez, that is currently being liquidated, will dismiss 147 employees. The measure has been agreed with the union representatives from UGT and CTA. The unions have criticised the company decision. However, they have agreed to the labour force adjustment plan because workers have gone three years without wages or compensation.
