Description

On 17 October 2014 money transporter Brink's announced it will cut 600 out of 1080 jobs. The restructuring is a result of the loss of the main customer Rabobank, who has joined forces with ABN Amro and ING to create their own transporting company. Moreover Brink's will lose SNS Bank as a customer. Three locations (Rotterdam, Arnhem and Zwolle) will close and bear the largest number of redundancies. There will also be job losses at the head office. The number of forced dismissals is estimated at 200.

In the week of 08 December 2014, the unions have organised a protest aganist the restructuring, including a petition to the Dutch Central Bank and Rabobank.
