European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Fugo Capital Group announced its decision to liquidate its subsidiary company Fugo-Odlew in Konin. The group will cut all 119 jobs by the end of March 2015; the reduction will be through voluntary departures. The restructuring programme is associated with the financial difficulties of the company. It is reported that the company has over PLN 6 mln debts.
Fugo-Odlew was founded in 1999. The plant has manufactured a wide range of cast steels and has provided its products to mining, metallurgy, power engineering, engineering, chemical and food industries.
