European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Stationery supplier Staples has announced that it is to create 170 new jobs when it opens a new warehouse in Corby, Northamptonshire. Staples is an international brand operating over 2,000 stores worldwide. The company will move into the Rockingham Estate sometime in 2015. It is understood that the warehouse has largely been unused, even though it was completed several years ago. The company commented that the central location, combined with access to the transport network was a major factor in deciding to operate from this site.
