Asda, the supermarket chain, has announced that it is to create 230 new jobs across its stores in Northern Ireland. The jobs will be shared among the 17 stores in Northern Ireland. The new positions have been made possible due to growth in the online part of the business. The growth in the 'click and collect' service has been higher than in all other parts of the UK. The new positions will cover all aspects of the online service, including delivery drivers, order pickers and service leaders. It is not known when the jobs will be filled.
