European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Spanish hotel chain Transhotel will apply for a collective redundancy affecting around 444 employees (74% of its entire workforce). The company filed for bankruptcy in October 2014. However, in case the company fails to attract investors, the dismissals will be extended to the whole workforce. The timeframe for the restructuring is not known yet.
