Description
Kidzania, the company which operates children's activity centres, has announced that it is to create its first British centre in London. The development, which will happen at the Westfield shopping centre in Shepherds Bush will create 450 jobs. Of these, more than 200 are expected to be supervisory positions. The centre is due to open early in 2015.
The Kidzania franchise will be operated by Longshot Kids, a company which now holds the franchise for Great Britain and Ireland. Further centres are being planned; another in East London and one in either Birmingham or Manchester.
