Logistics company UPS announced plans to create 300 jobs at its new transshipment center in Stryków near Łódź. The center is expected to be operational in the first half of 2015. The company also announced that it plans to create a Global Business Service in Łódź where 300 people will be employed, but the timeline for the job creation has not been announced yet. For both projects the company is to invest USD 25 mn (€19,70 mn).
UPS has been operating in Poland since 1992, it has 36 branches and it employs 4,000 people across the country.
