Description
Telecommunications company EE will lose 350 jobs in Hatfield as it restructures its head office. The job losses will come from marketing, finance, legal and account management divisions. It has not been reported when these job losses will take effect.
The move does not affect customer service staff in retail and call centres; the company continues to add to staffing levels in its call centres in Derby and Derry / Londonderry. EE has also added jobs through its administration of the Phones4U retail group.
Given the proposed number of redundancies, a formal consultation has been launched.
