Description
Finish retail company Suomen Lähikauppa has initiated employer-employee negotiations concerning 520 employees under zero-hour contracts. As this form of contract is not recognized by the union the company will terminate the contracts and divide the working hours over its permanent and part-time workforce.
Suomen Lähikauppa employs a total of 4,600 people in Finland. The restructuring will primarily affect the two retail chains Siwa and Valintatalo.
