Description
Aviation Passage Service Berlin (APSB) has lost the contract for providing passenger check-in services at Berlin-Tegel airport which will make 220 jobs redundant. On 24 September 2014, the compnay’s CEO informed the employees about the process. Staff will lose their jobs by November 2014.
APSB was a sub-company of Globeground. From November 2014 on, Globeground will charge other companies with the service to save costs. For the 220 APSB employees, a social plan is going to be set up.
