Description
Online retailer Ocado has announced that it is to create 300 new jobs on Merseyside when it opens a new delivery hub. The hub which will be on the Knowsley Industrial Park will open in November 2014. The hub will occupy 20,000 square feet; 120 delivery vans are expected to operate from the site. The 300 jobs which are currently being recruited are driving jobs. Benefits include 15pc staff discount, premiums for evening and weekend shifts, as well as private healthcare, shares and private pension.
The news of this expansion comes after Ocado announced plans earlier in 2014 for new sites in the Midlands and the South East
