European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Swiss investment fund Springwater Capital has acquired Electrodomésticos Miró, an electrical household appliances retailer. The acquisition will suppose the dismissal of 90 employees (16% of its entire workforce).
Electrodomésticos Miró was declared in bankruptcy in March 2014. Springwater Capital will pay € 3 million for the company’s assets. The acquisition will allow to save 67 outlets and 476 jobs.
