Description
Cwmbran based call centre We Fight Any Claim has announced that it is to create 140 new jobs. The company specialises in compensation claims for customers who have been mis-sold payment protection insurance (PPI).
The new jobs, 100 of which will be full-time, will add to the existing 400 strong workforce at the South-East Wales site. It is not known when these jobs will be filled, but it is reported that recruitment for the new positions has been started.
The company has also made some changes to working conditions as part of its ‘Work Small Live Big’ campaign. Full time hours will be reduced from 40 to 35 per week with and after six months in post those who qualify will not be required to work on Fridays. Both these changes will result in no salary decrease. In addition the company has stated that it hopes that by offering a variety of part-time positions it will be able to give opportunities to groups such as parents who may not be able to commit to full time work.
