Description

Telecoms retailer The Phone House announced it will cut 200 jobs. The firm has 250 shops (80 through franchising) in the Netherlands and 50 will be closed or merged. Some 160 jobs will be lost in the shops and 40 in the head office. As reported, the firm is planning to focus more on online retail activities.

Details on the timeline of the restructuring have not yet been made clear. The Phone house is part of UK-based Carphone Warehouse.
