US-based global software development and IT consultancy services provider SoftServe is to open a software development centre in Sofia. 1,000 jobs are expected to be created in the next 5 years of which 200 ones within the next year. As announced, the expansion plan is part of the company’s corporate global strategy.
With a total workforce of 3,200 people in North America and West and Eastern Europe, the company provides outsourcing to many companies worldwide. As reported, the company made the strategic choice to expand in Bulgaria since it ranks highly worldwide in highly educated IT professionals.
