Description

As announced on 4 August 2014, manufacturer of consumption goods Procter & Gamble is to cut 200 jobs in Germany within the next two years. The company encourages voluntary redundancies and provides help to find a new job. According to the company, job losses are mainly due to stagnating business. Procter & Gamble plans to eliminate around 100 product lines.

Procter & Gamble is an American company which employs 126,000 people across 70 countries. In Germany, around 13,000 people currently work for the company. The company owns brands such as Braun, Bruno Banani, Pampers and Gilette.
