Description
Dante International, operator of Emag the biggest online retailer in the local information technology and communication (IT & C) market, is to create 203 jobs at its new software development centre in Bucharest. The company is part of the South African Naspers Group.
According to the sources, Emag IT Research has received state aid of €6.65 million to develop new technologies. During the first half of 2014, the Ministry of Finance issued €67.27 million worth of state aid, which is expected to create approximately 3000 jobs over the next three years. The sources report that the restructuring is part of the new business plan at the company.
