Description

French motorway operator Sanef is to create a new customer contact centre. The centre will be opened in Leeds and will create 300 jobs, including ten apprenticeship positions. The new £1 million centre will be opened in October 2014. A spokesperson for Sanef confirmed that Leeds had been selected because of the city's expertise and history of this type of work and also because of the skill levels of the local workforce.

The company is known in France for managing the French motorway system. The new centre will manage the new payments system which is being introduced for the Dartford crossing in October. The system will offer drivers different payment options and reduce congestion by reducing the queues at toll booths.
