Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Mondelēz Poland, producer of confectionary, food and beverages, has announced that it will create 200 jobs at its unit in Skarbimierz (the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone). According to the source, the company will employ machine operators, technicians, team leaders and warehouse staff. The company has begun the recruitment process in Opolskie and Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The source reports that the employees will receive a remuneration package that includes medical insurance, gym membership, an employee pension scheme, a subsidy for meals at work and training opportunities.
According to the source, the company currently employs 660 permanent employees and about 200 temporary employees. Mondelēz Poland is a part of Mondelēz International (former Kraft Foods) and it employs 3,200 people across 7 units.
