European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Logistics and Transport Company DSV Solutions has announced that it will cut all 200 jobs at the Stadium warehouse in Norrkoping. The source notes that some of the 200 staff members are employed on temporary contracts through the company Logent, however it is unclear exactly how many.
According to the source, the jobs cuts are a result of losing a contract with sports retailer Stadium. The new logistics provider at the Stadium warehouse will be Postnord, which has signed a contract with employment agency Pema People. According to the source, some employees made redundant by DSV may be rehired through Pema People. However, no commitment has been made by the company.
The new contract will begin on February 1 2015. The ERM has reported on previous restructuring events at DSV in 2012.
