Description

Bosch Rexroth is to cut 310 jobs at its sites in Schweinfurt and Volkach in the next two years. According to the company the job reduction is due to overcapacity. Around 2,000 people work at the two sites, 1,630 in Schweinfurt and about 400 in Volkach. The management excluded direct dismissals and intends to transfer employees to other positions within the Bosch Group, offer early retirement or severance payments.

Bosch Rexroth is a German supplier of tailored solutions for driving, controlling and moving equipment/machinery. The company employs 36,700 people in total and belongs to the Bosch group. As reported, in 2013 the business volume decreased by 13 pc compared to 2012.
