Description
IMKA, producer of hygiene and cosmetic products, has announced that it will create 150 jobs at its factory in Lubań in the Kamienna Góra Small Business Special Economic Zone. IMKA is part of the Dr Schumacher group which is one of the leading European producers of wet wipes. According to the sources, the factory will be operational from February 2015.
The sources report that the job creation is part of an investment worth PLN 90 million. As part of this investment the company plans to construct a production facility, a warehouse, an office building and will also develop new production lines. According to the sources, eventually the company plans to create 300 jobs at this location.
IMKA's factory in Lubań was destroyed by a fire in 2012 and since then the company has been renting a production unit in the region.
