European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Indian IT outsourcing and consulting company, Wipro, has announced that it will create 100 jobs in Shannon over the next 12 months. The company plans to expand its workforce by 50% and it currently employs 200 people at its Shannon Development Centre.
According to the source, the Shannon based-unit specialises in providing services to banks and finance companies in Ireland and the UK. Wipro began its operations in Ireland in November 2012.
